MYBANK MOBILE/INTERNET BANK TERMS & CONDITIONS

Customers shall be responsible for the safe custody and security of the internet/Mobile Banking application on their mobile phones, password (s), or PIN codes to avoid unauthorized usage/access. They should immediately inform Bank for disabling of internet/mobile Banking services in case of loss or theft of mobile phone or in case of any other security breaches. Customers should submit such information ONLY through Tel: and/or e-mail: +252 61 373 7777 and e-mail info@mybank.so.

In order to deliver its mobile/Internet banking services to the clients, MyBank shall use a secure, reliable and compliant technology to the industry standards regarding the same. This includes encryption of customer data, deployment of DR sites, and many other means of making client transactions secure and smooth. But, despite all these efforts, the client understands that this technology can experience some downtimes, hence, MyBank will not be liable for any delays, inconveniences faced by the client during his/her usage of the service.

Transactions initiated through Internet/Mobile Banking application are irrevocable unless the payer and payee collectively agree otherwise; the Bank shall not entertain any request for revocation of transaction or stop payment request for transactions initiated through Internet/Mobile Banking.

When transacting online, the customer is responsible to make sure about the account number and account holder’s name to which he/she is transferring funds before he/she does any transaction.

Customers shall not use the internet/Mobile Banking channel for any illegal activities/purposes.

Customers shall not share their Internet/Mobile banking username and password/PIN with anyone.

MyBank shall do its best to verify all offline transactions taking place on its online banking platform, but the bank is not obliged to call customer (s) back in order to confirm every transaction of that nature.

MyBank has full rights – At any given time – to stop/block any client from using/accessing its mobile/Internet banking. Client (s) have also the right to request deactivation of the service at any given time.

The customer accepts that all Internet/Mobile banking transactions made with his/her username and password/PIN will be binding and the same as the normal transactions made at branches.

The bank shall be at liberty to change/amend its Mobile/Internet banking term and Conditions from time to time.

MyBank will not be held liable if the customer could not receive any goods/services which were paid for through its Internet/Mobile banking system. The payee will be responsible instead.

MyBank, in line with its internal policies, may – from time to time – impose limits on the volume and the number of transactions that clients can do at any given period.

If any disputes arise among the bank and its customer (s), Somalia’s local laws will be applied for dispute resolution with respect to this Internet/Mobile banking terms and conditions.
